Lightening strikes during a thunder storm last night ignited brush fires in the Cabrera Mountains bringing back horrendous memories of larger fires in the area in previous years. 
The fires were quickly doused by the Bomberos who utilised helecopters to fight the flames.

Another busy week here with Triton Services in Spain.
Stephen has been cleaning swimming pools all week in Bedar, Mojacar, Turre and Vera, whilst Natasha and Stuart have been busy with a variety of work, including Strimming more Terraces to protect against Fires and to improve the look of the gardens. Plus errecting windbreak fencing, repairs to mosquito nets, exterior painting (you may have seen us on a villa roof on the outskirts of Bedar) plus cleaning a few pools as well.

Ground clearance has been in high demand over the last two weeks as people start to recall the horrendous fires of last year.
