Security Warnings

Police have released a warning to motorists using the AP7 motorway following a number of incidents where motorists have stopped and then been robbed. The offenders use a number of tactics including flagging motorists down or even deliberately puncturing their tyres. When the motorists stop they are distracted whilst a second offender enters their vehicle and steal valuables.
Advice is to stay locked in your vehicle and call the emergency services if you have a problem with your vehicle, do not accept assistance from strangers.
When leaving your vehicle on garage forecourts etc, take your keys and lock your car!

As the weather begins to heat up the Triton Team have been working flat out.
Pool Cleaning - To keep your pool in tip top condition your Pool Cleaner should be cleaning it at least TWICE a week. We are continually hearing stories of companies only attending once a week and some who either don't come at all when you are away or just pop round for five minutes and do very little!

Fires in the Cabrera Mountains

Lightening strikes during a thunder storm last night ignited brush fires in the Cabrera Mountains bringing back horrendous memories of larger fires in the area in previous years. 
The fires were quickly doused by the Bomberos who utilised helecopters to fight the flames.

Pools, Gardens & Painting

Another busy week here with Triton Services in Spain.
Stephen has been cleaning swimming pools all week in Bedar, Mojacar, Turre and Vera, whilst Natasha and Stuart have been busy with a variety of work, including Strimming more Terraces to protect against Fires and to improve the look of the gardens. Plus errecting windbreak fencing, repairs to mosquito nets, exterior painting (you may have seen us on a villa roof on the outskirts of Bedar) plus cleaning a few pools as well.

Talking to a letting agent today who we know who asked about our security service in the Mojacar, Lubrin area. Initially they said that most the properties they manage have alarms, then I posed the question, when the alarm goes off, who does the alarm company call? You! Are you in the country? A neighbour? Are you happy for a neighbour to go out and check your house in the middle of the night? Does your neighbour go and physically check your doors and windows once or twice a week?

Bogus Officials. Warning

Reports are coming in of Bogus Gas Officials operating in the Mojacar and surrounding areas.
The men are dressed in Repsol tee shirts and are attempting to gain access and charging unsuspecting victims cash for so-called repairs..
do not let these men in!
Always check identification of all callers.
Never part with cash.
Never leave any caller unattended in your property

Far to often we have reports of uninvited guests using people's swimming pools etc whilst the owners are away or abroad, some of these trespassers even have pool parties at these vacant houses! Triton Services provide customers with regular security patrols at random times of day and night to deter these unwanted guests.
